Packaging

Design

From initial conceptualization to final design, I created a new packaging line aimed at getting young people excited about space and science. Utilizing modern colors and layering techniques helps makes this design a superstar.

Fun fact:

Hayden the Astronaut

is named after New York City's

Famous Hayden Planetarium!

Tasked with designing Mattel’s Doctor Barbie line,

I utilized bold colors, playful patterns, and a combination of illustration and photography staying true to the Barbie brand while exploring my

“Designer Barbie” side.

The Center for Functional Nanomaterials at

Brookhaven National Laboratory celebrates science and art with a yearly contest. I had the honor of designing the departments 2023 calendar showcasing their artistic interpretation of the tiny world they study.

From creation to management I developed Dukal’s quarterly, newsletter. Since Touchpoint’s inception I’ve produced a line of successful publications that reach medical manufacturers, distributors, healthcare systems, and medical professionals.

You get to learn some fascinating history when it comes to working for scientific institutions. I got to make waves designing a series of educational brochures highlighting some of Woods Hole Oceanographic Institution’s majestic ships.

Inside

TechMed a sister company of Dukal sought to elevate their product line through a compelling mailer campaign. I explored making exam room supplies more visually exciting by merging CAD with product shots giving it a a cutting-edge, tech-inspired aesthetic.

Illustration

Dukal is in the business of healing wounds with their vast supply of wound care products. What better marketing than to showcase the different stages of healing with a medical illustration. This illustration was used alongside an article geared towards medical professionals.

Tasked with constructing a graphic narrative showcasing the innovative strides scientists are

taking to revitalize our precious coral reefs,

I delved into the challenge with enthusiasm.

This illustration captures a Cape Cod landscape highlighting innovative strategies to combat beach erosion.

Teaming up with a scientist from the Woods Hole Oceanographic Institution, I undertook the exciting challenge of crafting a comprehensive illustration to elucidate the varying health statuses of coral reefs.

In collaboration with a scientist from the Woods Hole Oceanographic Institution, I contributed to the creation of an educational illustration for use in a scientific journal.

Crafted detailed illustrations of product materials using Procreate, tailored for educational marketing purposes.

Branding

Here I illustrate the process behind crafting a captivating logo. From sketch to print collateral.

Here I illustrate the diverse applications of the logo design across various mediums, including web interfaces, packaging materials, and print collateral.

Digital

Recognizing the tendency for medical ads to exude a sense of sterility, I opted to use textures and gradient to add a more dynamic feel.

For this ad I leveraged elements from Dukal’s company logo, and infused the design with graphic dynamism to capture immediate attention. Kept it simple yet impactful.

In crafting this digital landing page and accompanying advertisements, I explored a captivating realm where the company's logo undergoes a metamorphosis, seamlessly transitioning into an array of objects that weave together a compelling narrative.

Icons & Graphs

For this project I was tasked with crafting an iconographic diagram that encapsulates the essence and aspirations of Woods Hole Oceanographic Institution.

Crafting modern iconography was pivotal in spearheading the company's rebranding efforts. I was tasked with extending Dukal’s icon library.

I had the privilege of crafting a supply chain graphic that was used in Repertoire Magazine.

Growing up, I found inspiration in both "Star Trek: The Next Generation"

and Carl Sagan's "Cosmos," fueling my curiosity about science and igniting

a passion for exploration and discovery.

Combining inspiration with a passion for learning, I'm driven to constantly seek out new perspectives and contribute to science through design & illustration.

I strive to use my creative ability to help make a difference in today’s world.
